We keep contacts of friends and families so we can be able to reach them whenever we need to. Which is something that is important in our modern social environments. And moreover; it has become critical to our general comfortable survival.
With that, we often generally keep contacts of almost everyone we meet. But the downside to that is that a majority of all those we keep in our contacts are pretty much useless. They are of no real value whatsoever.
In such cases, it means one would be having a negative cellphone equity. Your contacts are of no value to you yet you are in control of what goes into your cellphone equity value or not.
A lot of the times, we have people to just hangout with and people to engage in violence with when one has to deal with someone. That's it.
When you find yourself in dire need of some real life help; more often than not, all those contacts you have will not come to your rescue. And guess what, it is not their fault. You willingly placed them there - you placed people of no real value in your life. Therefore, depreciating your cellphone equity.
Every contact you have ought to have a valid and valuable reason to be a part of your equity. You can have those you engage only in social activities, and your goons - as they may be of your preference. But would they bail you out when in need or do they have the ability to?
When you need someone to pickup your child from school coz you're not available, would someone on your contact list be able to? Would they financially help you when you are in financial need? Do they even know your birthday? Do they care about your family's well being? Are they ABLE to be of your aid?
In most cases, the answers to all those questions would be a No. Meaning their cellphone contact equity is in shambles. It is not a rare thing. A majority of us find ourselves in such situations and yet we continue not to be mindful of our cellphone contact equity.
Are you willing to cut off all those who weigh your cellphone equity down?
After all, the onus is on each of us to choose how we ought to live our lives. But the fact is, no one likes hoarding people of no value to their betterment, growth, and comfort. Therefore, always be mindful of your cellphone contact equity, for it can either be of your life or death.
